Cloud technologies offer great chances for users, such as flexible load distribution or lowering operating costs through outsourcing. Advanced architecture such as microservices offer flexible changes and less maintenance costs in comparison with local or client-server applications.
Migrating over to this kind of architecture poses a significant challenge for software developers, such as short-term interface changes, incomplete existing infrastructure and differences between local testing and cloud environments. In this technology transfer project, HITeC partners up with EASY SOFTWARE AG from Hamburg, examining and evaluating Hana-Cloud technologies from SAP and developing best practices for their use. This project relates to the domain of document and contract management.
