HITeC supported and advised the City of Hamburg on the introduction of an ALM – Application Lifecycle Management System over a period of six months. As part of this accompanying scientific research project, a series of interviews with project stakeholders from various Hamburg authorities were conducted. In addition, an evaluation of project documents was carried out in order to examine the current status of the project as well as further planning.
The current state-of-the-art knowledge on this topic (APM, PPM) was developed with a particular focus on the public sector. This knowledge was prepared for the project staff and recommendations for the successful implementation and realization of ALM were given.
